Merchant Navy Day
Sunday 3rd September 2017

Maldon Quay

Since 2000, this annual event has been a special remembrance of the brave men and women who kept our “Island Nation” afloat during both World Wars. Here in Maldon, there will be a special service of commemoration on the Quay at 12.30pm which everyone is welcome to attend, during which the Town Mayor will lay a wreath on behalf of the town.

Please note that there is limited residential parking on the Quay, and that visitors should use the nearest public car parks at the Promenade Park or Edward Bright Close.
