The Town Mayor was pleased to attend the RNLI Rowing Race event held at Maldon Quay and Maldon Little Ship Club. She judged the fancy dress competition and then presented the prizes to the winners.
At the beginning of January the Town Mayor transferred the poppy wreath laid in memory of Private Frederick Corbett VC at Maldon War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday to his grave in Maldon Cemetery.

The Town Mayor was very pleased to open Maldon Vintage Christmas Fayre which this year had 70 stalls. Despite the cold weather, it was a busy night with many people dressed up in 1940s outfits. It was also the occasion for the switching-on of the town’s Christmas lights.
