Cllr Jeanette Stilts enjoyed visiting the Action for Family Carers Coffee and Cake morning which was held at Brickhouse Farm.
Maldon Town Mayor, Cllr Jeanette Stilts, was pleased to help judge the Young Person’s Art Competition on 8th September and then present the prizes a week later.
The Town Mayor attended Redbridge Civic Service and met up with mayors from other local authorities.
The Town Mayor was pleased to join the Maldon society’s 60th birthday celebration on 5th October. A large cake was cut and a good time had by all.
The Town Mayor went to Clacton Air Show on a sunny Bank Holiday weekend. She said it was a brilliant day and the air displays were fantastic.
On Bank Holiday Monday the Town Mayor was pleased to present the winners of the Spot the Stranger competition with their prizes in Promenade Park. The competition is run by Maldon Carnival Association.
The Town Mayor viewed an exhibition of art by local artist Angelique Hartigan and was very impressed by the paintings on display.
The Town Mayor attended a dog show held in Promenade Park on 16th August.
The Town Mayor enjoyed a visit to Maldon’s Military and Flying Machines event. She had a wonderful day and particularly enjoyed watching the Spitfire flying display.
Saturday 5th August was Maldon Carnival day and the sun shone and crowds came out to watch. The Town Mayor congratulated the Carnival Committee for putting on a wonderful day.
